The alternative sport was created in 1999 by Mason Gordon.
Slamball played two seasons in 2002 and 2003, returned for a year in 2008 and is now back in 2023.
The league has four trampolines around each net and boards around the pitch.
The basketball variant will have a six-week regular season beginning in July and a week of playoffs in Las Vegas, according to Front Office Sports reporter Doug Greenberg.

Per Greenberg, fans of the sport “launched a social media campaign that garnered 200 million views for the hashtag #BringBackSlamBall.”
When it was formed, SlamBall was known for its dunks, collisions between players, and body-to-body contact.
And adoring fans are buying into the new campaign’s hype on social media.
One tweeted: “Damn that looks dangerous! Fun… but dangerous.”
Another said: “I would go to Vegas just for that, I don’t like Vegas lol.”
While a third asked, “Where do I sign up?”
SlamBall has garnered backing from wealthy investors including Boston Celtics forward Blake Griffin, Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils co-owner David Adelman, as well as Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin.
More information on teams, tickets and schedule will be announced shortly.
