The legend of Real Madrid, who boasted the record of winning the most European Cups in history, has passed away

REAL MADRID legend Paco Gento, 88, who won the most European Cups in history, has passed away.
Gento won six European Cups in his 18 seasons at Real, as well as 12 national championships.
The player has scored 182 goals in 600 games for Los Blancos and has represented Spain 43 times.
An official club statement read: “Real Madrid CF, its president and Board of Directors deeply mourn the death of Francisco Gento, the honorary president of Real Madrid and one of its legends. the greatest of our club and of world football.
“Real Madrid would like to send our condolences with affection and affection to his wife Mari Luz, sons Francisco and Julio, nieces Aitana and Candela and all his relatives, colleagues and loved ones.
“Paco Gento is the only player in the history of football to win six European Cups.
“He defended the colors of our club from 1953 to 1971, and in 18 seasons at Real Madrid he won 6 European Cups, 12 Leagues, 2 Spanish Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 1 Small World Cup and 2 National Cups Latinas.
“At Real Madrid, he played 600 games and scored 182 goals. He played for Spain 43 times.
