It consisted of toast and fried cheese, fried chicken, macaroni balls and some sort of dessert loaf that was so stale, Shahzad had lost feeling in one of his legs.
At the community center, an impressive Veesy told a helpful Tray he could take over her job when she got a promotion, and Tray happily agreed while showing her the cubs. graduation teddy bear he gave to the twins. Afterwards, the three posed for pictures, and Tray almost told them about Percy when he saw the police car. However, the cars continued to drive so Tray remained tight-lipped. Tray, his mother Roberta, Josh, Amira, and Shahzad had enjoyed what might have been Tray’s last meal with them for a long time, even without them knowing it, and Veesy stopped by later. there.
She tells Tray that the police are coming looking for him, and she says he should tell the authorities who killed Percy because she knows who it is. But Tray says he wants Javi to have a better life than the one he had at that age and he won’t report anything to the police. While telling Veesy this, Amira met Javi, and he became clean.
