The JVC LT-32CF600 Fire Edition TV is on sale and it’s my favorite TV under £200

Of all the TV deals I’ve spotted this February, one stands out – and it’s a modest 32-inch set from JVC.

Amazon has slashed the price of the JVC LT-32CF600 Fire TV Edition by 20%, and at £199 it’s a serious bargain.

We are in the midst of a rather quiet period for TV deals – but for me, this deal stands out as a great choice for buyers on a budget.

It feels like a long time since the late November sale, when we were bombarded with TV sales from all directions.

In that frenzy we’ve seen TVs at every reasonable price point: even with discounts, you can easily spend a few thousand pounds on a TV from a top brand like Samsung or Sony.

Honestly, the number of deals on high-end OLED, QLED, neo-QLED and other expensive TVs before Christmas is overwhelming – maybe that’s why I’m in love with the £199 set This meager brother from JVC.

The 32-inch screen sounds small compared to some of the 75-inch monsters you see advertised these days – but big isn’t always better.

Here’s a top tip: the distance between you and the TV should be just around 1.5 times the size of the screen.

So if you have a modestly sized viewing space, you might just need a TV of this size (it didn’t fall into the small category until a few years ago, by the way).

For the same reasons, the fact that the LT-32CF600 isn’t a 4K TV shouldn’t be a big deal because at this size you can’t really appreciate that level of picture resolution.

Built into this TV is Amazon’s Fire streaming platform, best known for being part of Amazon’s handy product line. Fire TV Sticks.

Fire TV is + a widely respected streaming UI that will get you set up with Netflix, Amazon Prime (obviously), Disney+ and the like without any hassle.

Honestly, if you’re after a cheap TV, this is a big deal.
