A JUROR who served at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial said it was an “honest mistake” not to disclose she was a victim of sexual abuse before the case happened.
Scotty David skimmed the questions and gave three incorrect answers, calling it “one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made”.
The 35-year-old, during an hour-long party at a New York courthouse, said he was “extremely distracted” when he thought about his breakup with his ex.
Judge Alison Nathan reserved his decision on whether to award a new trial to Maxwell, 60 years old, who faced 65 years in prison when he was sentenced in June for trafficking in girls.
Her attorneys say that if they had known of David’s past, they might not have chosen him and that this violates a fair trial.
