Madonna borrowed a design from the cover of Ten Luminous Emanation by Yehuda Ashlag.

She shared a photo of the new ink on the inside of her left wrist on her Instagram Story on Sunday, writing: “10. Resplendent Symbols in God. Become Expression.”

The book was published in 1996 by the Kabbalah Research Center, and talks about “the creative process that led to the origin of our universe’s Big Bang”.

Like A Virgin’s latest ink marks her fourth tattoo, the first coming in 2020.

She tattooed the first name of each of her six children’s names on her wrist for the first time – LRDMS E.

The letters represent Lourdes, 25, Rocco, 21, David, 16, Mercy, 16, and twins Stella and Estere, nine.

Last March, Madonna got a red X tattoo on the inside of her right wrist to celebrate her latest album, Madame X.

A few months later, in November, she received the Hebrew word for “kiss” on her left wrist, right below her children’s initials.

In the early 2000s, Madonna revealed that she was studying Kabbalah, a Jewish form of mysticism that explores the creation of the universe and its relationship with God.

Back in 2013, she shared how her circumstances at the time led her to the practice.

β€œAt 35, I was divorced and looking for love in all the wrong places. I decided that I needed to be more of a golden-toothed girl and gangster boyfriend,” said the pop star. Harper’s Bazaar.

“More than a sexual provocateur begging girls not to go looking for a second best child.

“I started searching for the true meaning and purpose of life. I wanted to be a mother, but I realized that just because I’m a freedom fighter doesn’t mean I’m qualified to be. raise a child.”

Madonna continued: “I decided I needed to have a spiritual life. That’s when I discovered Kabbalah.”

Talking about the backlash she faced at the time, the singer said: “Kabbalah really freaked people out. It still does.

“Now, you’d think it’s harmless to study the occult interpretation of the Old Testament and try to understand the secrets of the universe.

“I’m not hurting anyone. I just go to class, take notes in a spiral notebook, reflect on my future. I’m really trying to be a better person.”
