The GMA presenter admits she “hated” working at the company when she first got started with a shocking new video

GMA host Janai Norman has admitted she hated working at ABC when she first started.

The 33-year-old began an internship at the broadcaster in 2011 while she was still studying.

And Janai confessed this week that she initially loathed her time there.

The GMA star admitted it while revealing 10 random facts about herself in a video on Instagram.

While doing her makeup at the same time, Janai told fans: “I work at ABC Good Morning America, what a dream.

“Actually, that was my goal because I did an internship at ABC in college.”

The broadcaster winced and added conspiratorially, “I really hated this internship.”

Janai captioned the video: “We’re going PERSONAL today. Did any of these facts surprise you!?”

Her ABC career began with an internship at ABC affiliate NewsOne, based in New York City.

She worked in both Oklahoma and Florida before ending up back in the Big Apple with ABC.

Janai was hired as a GMA weekend presenter back in July after joining the show in 2019.

She has filled in for Amy Robach, 49, and her co-host TJ Holmes, 45, several times since they were taken off the air.

Janai took over hosting duties with GMA star Gio Benitez.

Fans have praised Janai’s performance and even urged bosses to hire the GMA weekend presenter permanently.

After the GMA3 Instagram account shared a video of Janai talking about the flu season, viewers flooded the comments with their praise.

One wrote: “Let her be the new host please.

“She is beautiful and has a wonderful husband and children, she has morals too and will not shame her family.”

Another wrote: “Keep Janai,” and a third added: “Janai hope you’re online all week.”

TJ and Amy have been off the air since their “affair” became public knowledge.

They remain off the show pending an internal review of their “affair”.
