The GB men’s team lost 4-3 to Sweden as the tense gold medal match came to an end

Edin is on the right track

Sweden are looking to win in a better way than their silver medal at the 2018 Olympics.

Skip Niklas Edin is the only tennis player in history to win five world titles but the Olympic gold medal has always eluded him.

Four years ago in Pyeongchang, they were defeated by the USA team Team GB in the semi-finals to win the gold medal.

But Edin said before this match: “We were focused on trying to win and not being afraid to lose, so looking back four years didn’t really go well for us.

“We’re just looking at what we’re here to do right now, the old games don’t make any sense.

“It’s a brand new match and we know what the Olympic final is going to be like, they don’t.”
