The future of the US Air Force is revealed in new stealth bomber images as the US unleashes a show of force amid fears of a Chinese spy balloon

THE US Air Force has unveiled a freaky new stealth bomber plane that is said to be at the heart of the Global Strike project.

Government officials continue to use cutting-edge weaponry alongside powerful allies to assert dominance over rising tensions with Russia and China.

The B-21 Raider is a sleek, futuristic aircraft packed with brand new technology, data sensors and dangerous weaponry.

Developed by the USAF and aerospace and defense company Northrop Grumman, it can operate on multiple systems across the battlefield, reports Aerospace Manufacturing.

“The B-21, which we launched just a few months ago, will be the centerpiece of our Global Strike family of systems,” Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said this week.

“The B-21 is expected to begin flight testing later this calendar year.

“Our goal is to get into production as soon as possible with an acceptable risk of concurrency… and to overlap some test productions.”

Although the aircraft is not expected to be fully operational in several years, it will be capable of firing both conventional munitions and devastating nuclear weapons.

It will be an important addition to ensure victories for national security goals around the world.

“The B-21 Raider is the first strategic bomber in more than three decades,” US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said at a ceremony in December.

“It’s a testament to America’s enduring advantages in ingenuity and innovation.

“And it’s a testament to the Department’s long-term commitment to building advanced capabilities that will strengthen America’s ability to deter aggression now and in the future.”

The new stealth bomber comes as agencies like the USAF and Navy have joined forces with South Korea and Israel in bone-dry displays of force.

Fear of nuclear war has terrified innocent populations around the world, while the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to deepen as it nears a year since the war began.

And US intelligence agencies are hinting that China is considering helping Russia in the conflict as China-US relations deteriorate, the AP reports.

The Chinese spy balloon that hovered eerily over the country for days put world leaders on high alert and spurred retaliation.

In an effort to reclaim global authority, US military leaders have made some impressive displays of force.

In January, the US Navy and Air Force conducted the largest-ever bilateral training exercise with the Israeli military, displaying their most powerful helicopter to date.

“It is the largest and most significant exercise that we have participated in together,” said Pentagon press secretary Air Force Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder.

The training, conducted in the last week of January, was intended “to demonstrate that US commitment to Israel is ironclad and enduring,” he said.

Opponents like Iran were woken up by 180,000 pounds of live ammunition fired by the two nations over Israel and the Mediterranean.

One of the most impressive machines on display was the US military’s new CH-53K King Stallion heavy lift helicopter.

The aircraft is primarily used to transport troops and heavy equipment through varied terrain and with more efficiency than older aircraft.

It can lift around 14 tons and has a mission radius of 110 nautical miles. Two hundred helicopters were ordered by the Pentagon at a staggering $25 billion.

In addition to showcasing their new hardware, the US and Israeli partners will also “work together to improve interoperability in electronic attacks,” Ryder said.

“This exercise is focused on interoperability and strengthening our security relationship in terms of working together,” Ryder continued.

Rather than focusing on one threat, the goal of the training is to ensure that “if we need to work together, we can do it seamlessly”.

Another show of force took place last December when South Korea’s air force joined for joint aerial exercises.

A US B-52 strategic bomber and C-17 aircraft were spotted alongside South Korean F-35A and F-15K fighters in the South Korean air defense identification zone.

The joint exercise was part of a demonstration of US “enhanced deterrence” against North Korea, the South Korean military said, as reported by VOA News.

It is South Korea’s latest show of force against North Korea, and as an ally of South Korea, the US joined forces after officials last month agreed to step up their protection obligation to Seoul.

The US has increased its joint military exercises and made the presence of American strategic assets, including long-range bombers and aircraft carriers, more regular.

South Korea’s defense ministry mentioned the protection deal, noting that the US will “continue to strengthen the combined defense posture” of the South Korea-US alliance.
