One Aldi super fan tests products so you don’t have to, and his latest pitted two frozen desserts against each other.
The TikTok user offers reviews of some of the most popular products at Aldi.
Ryan (@RyanTalksAndEats) said in a recent video: “Aldi offers different flavors of similar items and I try them all to tell you which are the best.”
This time he shared his opinion on a frozen cheesecake and a frozen cake.
In the freezer, Ryan pulled out a frozen Belmont cheesecake.
He said it was “good but very simple,” adding that he added caramel and pecans.
Rather, he suggested grabbing the Belmont chocolate mousse cake, which he described as “10/10 delicious.”
“Both have a cookie crust that’s a lot better than the traditional graham [cracker]” he said.
Both desserts cost $5.99, which is a lot cheaper than Target’s $7.49 for a frozen cheesecake and $7.59 for the chocolate mousse cake.
Aldi’s desserts are cheaper than those at Walmart, where both a whipped cheesecake and a chocolate mousse cake cost $6.98.
GREAT FIND AT ALDI
Turns out Aldi is one of the cheapest grocery stores in the country.
Shoppers are constantly finding and falling in love with the affordable products that the store stocks.
Lifestyle blogger and foodie Katie Kelly (@bitsbitesblog) recently shared some of her favorite Aldi finds for herself and her family.
Just some of the products were:
- cat toy
- Whole and plain burritos
- RX bar
- Frozen wontons
- Crunchy rice rolls
Her entire list includes 30 products that she took home.
TikToker and Aldi fanatic Aldiusa shared one of their own batch of six “household essentials”.
She was able to snag a reusable bag for $1, white wine for $9.99, milk chocolate almonds for $3.99, and a cat toy for $6.99.
She also bought keto bagels for $4.49 and a laundry storage system for $19.99, which was the most expensive item.
Unfortunately for Aldi fans, the chain is closing some locations.
