The FedEx website is down, leaving customers unable to track packages on Prime Day

With Amazon Prime Day in full swing, FedEx is having troubles with its website.

The giant online retailer has millions on its website, but users are struggling to track their purchases as the FedEx website is down.

Down Detector reported that 30% of users experience tracking difficulties, while 66% experience problems with the actual website.

Only 4% of users reported problems with the app.

In the past 24 hours, the company has reported nearly 3,627 outages.

FedEx has yet to issue a statement, although it has responded to Twitter users who have had difficulties.

In the site’s comments section, users have shared information about what exactly is working, what status is being backed up, and what other notifications they are getting.

“I received a late delivery message at around 5am. My package is in Chicago and my city is about 2 hours away. What the heck is going on with FedEx?” said one user.

One customer said the site wouldn’t even allow him to make a claim.

FedEx told The Sun: “We had an issue today that made certain features of fedex.com temporarily unavailable for some online users.”

“Our IT teams have been working diligently to identify and resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused,” they added.

How to make a claim

If you’re lucky enough to be able to access the site, go to the top of the page and click Support.

You should see Make an application in the drop-down bar.

Once you click it, you will get step-by-step instructions on how to submit properly.

If the site isn’t working in your area, users have had some luck with Twitter.
