The family pooch was dragged half a mile after lead jammed in bus doors

A DOG was dragged half a mile when her leash became caught in the doors of a bus.
Aaron Davies said an angry driver closed them while his partner Georgia Rattray was still on board and Tia’s lead.

Aaron, 35, claimed the bus ripped off, dragging tiny Jack Russell with it.
The puppy was in shock with bleeding paws.
Angry, Aaron, who has a walker, said: “When I got out I politely complained to the driver that he hadn’t waited for me to sit down before driving off because I’m on a crutch.
“He just started screaming and screaming and ranting and raving. I got off the bus and Tia followed, but Georgia was still on. The driver slammed the doors and drove away. He really put his foot down.”
Aaron, who was hit by a car two years ago and quit his job, added: “Tia tried to run alongside but tripped. She was so close to the wheel I thought she would fall under it and be crushed.”
Aaron, from Bristol, says the driver stopped after half a mile and 26-year-old Georgia got out to pick up six-year-old Tia.
He added: “She was lying on the ground covered in blood. She was in shock and badly injured.”
Avon and Somerset Police are investigating and bus company First West are providing “full support”.
