“I feel like it might help someone else or someone might understand what I’m going through.”
Chantel gave her fans who were going through a breakup some advice on how to get through the heartbreak.
She told The US Sun: “Keep busy, work on your health and start your village, which is made up of your family and friends. I am grateful to my family and friends who have helped me through my darkest and most needed times. They’ve really improved. This is important.
“Don’t isolate yourself. When you’re going through a divorce or separation, you may feel embarrassed or like a failure. Those are some things I’ve been through. Keep that support system around you.”
She continued, “During this period of my life, I have done many things to take my mind off my problems. I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know myself. Some might call it a date with myself.
“Like hiking, going to a café alone. Volunteering gives me a lot of meaning. I have enjoyed the work, being in the community and being with my family and friends. That’s what keeps me grounded.”
