The Family Chantel star Chantel Everett reveals the emotional reason she wants to return to season five despite the divorce

THE FAMILY Chantel star Chantel Everett has revealed the emotional reason she wants the TLC series to return for season five, despite her divorce from estranged husband Pedro Jimeno.
Pedro, 31, filed for divorce from Chantel, 32, during season four, leaving fans wondering if the show will return.
In an exclusive interview with The US Sun, Chantel revealed her hopes for a fifth season despite the sad breakup.
She said, “I feel like I bled so much on TV for viewers and a lot of people could relate to my story, so I’m open to doing another season.”
“I feel like it might help someone else or someone might understand what I’m going through.”

Chantel gave her fans who were going through a breakup some advice on how to get through the heartbreak.


She told The US Sun: “Keep busy, work on your health and start your village, which is made up of your family and friends. I am grateful to my family and friends who have helped me through my darkest and most needed times. They’ve really improved. This is important.
“Don’t isolate yourself. When you’re going through a divorce or separation, you may feel embarrassed or like a failure. Those are some things I’ve been through. Keep that support system around you.”
She continued, “During this period of my life, I have done many things to take my mind off my problems. I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know myself. Some might call it a date with myself.
“Like hiking, going to a café alone. Volunteering gives me a lot of meaning. I have enjoyed the work, being in the community and being with my family and friends. That’s what keeps me grounded.”

Chantel added that the breakup helped her become more independent as she found her “inner strength.”
CAREER FOCUSED
The former 90-day fiance currently works as a traveling nurse and hopes to one day work in the aesthetics industry.
She said: “Even though I’ve been on reality TV, I still have my career as a nurse. I love it. i am traveling I meet so many new people and experience new places. I’m really enjoying travel nursing at the moment.”
Chantel also works with various charities to give back.
She said: “The most recent charity I’ve worked with is Give Kids the World Village in Orlando, Florida. It is an organization that works with seriously ill children and their families as they go to Disney as part of their Make a Wish Foundation journey.
“As a nurse, it appealed to me. Children are innocent and deserve the world. It’s close to my heart because it gives me a sense of purpose and an opportunity to give back at this time in my life.”
MARRIAGE ENDED
Pedro filed for divorce from Chantel in May 2022, giving the previous month as the separation date.
The split was controversial as they were granted a mutual restraining order to prevent them from making any changes to their insurance policies and assets.
Chantel filed for a divorce seal in July 2022 because she was unable to provide an update on the current state of affairs.


The couple first appeared in the fourth season of 90 Day Fiance before starring in the spin-off 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.
Then, in 2019, they snapped up their own show, The Family Chantel, featuring Chantel’s family and friends.
