The England stars are making radical changes to their eating habits, including lunchtime breakfast, to cope with the World Cup heat

ENGLAND stars have radically changed their eating habits, including having breakfast at lunchtime.

The Three Lions have now been in Qatar for three weeks – and hope for another eleven days until the final.

The Middle Eastern country is three hours ahead of England but Gareth Southgate’s side have opted to stay on British time to try to beat the heat.

According to the Mail, breakfast at Three Lions headquarters is never scheduled before noon — lunch around 6 p.m.

On non-match days, dinner then begins at 10pm – the same time that three of their four games have kicked off so far – with Saturday’s quarter-finals also scheduled for a late start.

A 10pm kick-off is unusual for Premier League stars as 8.15pm is the latest start of a game in the competition.

Three Lions bosses were keen for players to avoid training during the hottest part of the day, with temperatures peaking at around 28 degrees even in the Qatari winter.

Sessions were pushed back to the unusually late 3pm start time to give England an advantage.

It was thought that training before 3pm could sap players’ energy.

Staying in the UK period could also benefit player clubs when they return later this month – with the Prem restarting just eight days after the World Cup final on December 18.

Jude Bellingham, meanwhile, has issued a warning to France – claiming he has “that dog in him”.

The teenager was a revelation in England midfield, earning praise for his superb performance in the 3-0 win over Senegal.

Ahead of Saturday’s quarter-finals, he explained: “I go into the games knowing that each one is a war and you have to be ready for it.

“Once you have the dog, you’re just born with it. The way I grew up around football, you had to have that dog in you.

“It’s something I have. I’m a nice guy off the pitch, but something comes over me on the pitch.

“I have a feeling you don’t have any friends out there other than those who wear the same outfit.

“Anyone not wearing that – it’s not beef – but there’s something that’s personal.”
