The End of Screams (2022) Explained

Chad is attacked by Ghostface, while other members of the group such as Liv (Sonia Ben Ammar), Tara and Richie go missing. But this is the “Scream” we’re talking about, so there will always be plenty of brief stories for the audience to thoroughly analyze. Fortunately, fans didn’t have to wait long to solve it, because in a moment of extreme paranoia in the group Amber brandished a gun and executed Liv on the spot. “Welcome to Act 3,” indeed.

But who is her accomplice? Well, the screenwriters cleverly debunked a typical situation in the franchise, because surely it can’t be the protagonist’s boyfriend anymore, can it? In fact, it might, since Richie outdoes Sam, Sidney, and Gale herself as her co-conspirators. In typical “Scream” fashion, the two killers talk about their motives and it’s as meta-like as you’d expect. Amber and Richie are both disgruntled fans of the “Stab” series – you know, the TV series based on the events of the original. They linked online about their shared hatred of the most recent movie, “Stab 8,” before coming up with ideas for their own movie.

Amber and Richie continue their killing spree so that the “Stab” franchise has new sources of material to work with in the future. By creating their own Ghostface, the duo hope to essentially shape the story of the sequel, believing their ideas for a sequel are better than anything the studio will come up with. In Richie’s words, “Someone has to save the franchise.”

It’s a clever maneuver by the screenwriters, who are clearly taking mock pictures of specific real-world fandoms, who carry out mass hate campaigns as movies and TV shows. specific sequels are not to their liking.
