He was a longtime member of the band, playing in a number of groups including Holy Molar, Rats Eyes and Wet Lungs.

The band posted on Facebook about Serbian’s death.

“This world will miss Gabe as a friend, family member, musician and artist. He will live on in so many ways and through everyone he was connected to during his time with us,” he wrote.

May Day is Serbia’s birthday, the band said.

“We hope you find a way to celebrate his life,” the post reads.
