The cause of Sinead O’Connor’s death remains a mystery as police attempt to chronicle the singer’s final days before her body was found

O’Connor died at the age of 56, her family said Wednesday, but her cause of death and time of death are not yet known.
London’s Inner South Coroner’s Court is investigating the singer’s death.
A spokesman for the coroner said O’Connor’s “date of death is currently unknown.” Daily Mail reports.
According to the coroner, it will be several weeks before O’Connor’s autopsy results are released.
British police said they found O’Connor lifeless at her home in south-east London on Wednesday and were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to local authorities, her death is not suspicious.
The singer’s death came just 18 months after the heartbreaking loss of her 17-year-old son, Shane O’Connor.
Shane went missing from Tallaght Hospital in Dublin after years of struggling with mental health issues.
The singer has been married four times and has three other children, Jake Reynolds, Roisin Waters and Yeshua Francis Neil Bonadio.
Nearly two weeks before O’Connor was found dead, the singer announced that she would be “finishing my album soon.”
Her new album, No Veteran Dies Alone, has been in the works for about five years and would have been O’Connor’s first release since 2014’s I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss.
O’Connor’s producer David Holmes said the “emotional and genuinely personal” album is eight tracks long and she is one song away from completing it Rolling Stone.
The album’s release date is currently unknown and David said: “She was excited about it and looking forward to completing it. That’s up to her family and estate, and I’ll happily do as I’m told.”
O’Connor rose to worldwide fame in 1990 with her epic ballad Nothing Compares 2 U.
