The Canadian superstar teases Glastonbury Legends slot, saying it could be an “incredible highlight for me”.

SHANIA TWAIN is dying to check something else off her wish list – appearing in Glastonbury’s Legends slot.
She has sold 100 million records, headlined the Super Bowl halftime show and boasts the best-selling studio album of all time by a female act.

But the country superstar, who released her sixth studio album Queen Of Me on Friday, wants to follow in the footsteps of Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and Kylie Minogue by taking over the Sunday afternoon gig at next year’s festival.
Shania, whose global hits Man! I feel like a woman and that doesn’t impress me much, said in an exclusive chat: “That would be a fabulous idea. I would love it. That would of course be an incredible highlight for me.”
Unfortunately she won’t be able to do that this year as she will be performing across the States on her Queen Of Me tour which arrives in the UK in September.
Shania said of the preparations: “It’s a bit like training as an athlete. I’ve already started working on my voice.
“I will rehearse for many weeks. It takes a lot of preparation.
“Part of that, which is also kind of fun, is making sure I get the right shoes for the shows. It is practical and fashionable at the same time.”
In the 30 years since the release of her self-titled debut, Shania’s fashion has become a key part of her image, with a variety of unforgettable outfits.
But she has revealed that she hated her body for years, until a recent photoshoot where she got naked.
The Canadian singer went topless for the artwork for Waking Up Dreaming, her first single from the new album, while another photo shows her covering herself with a strategically placed cowboy hat.
Shania explained: “I’ve spent most of my life feeling uncomfortable in my own skin since I was ten years old. So at this point I thought to myself, I’ve wasted so many years of insecurity about my nudity.
“So I did this nude photo shoot to face this awkwardness I’ve always had with my own nude picture and it helped a lot.
“We’re not perfect. And that’s the irony of fashion, because I love fashion so much because it can improve the things you like about yourself and change the things you don’t like.
“When the gaming is over you still want to feel great when you look in the mirror – and I didn’t want that.
“The best way to face your fear is to step out of your comfort zone, so that’s exactly what I did.”
Blown up now repaired?
COULD Busted be close to a reunion?
Charlie Simpson is rumored to be Rhino in The Masked Singer, and now former bandmate James Bourne admits he’s toying with the idea of a comeback.

The singer, who was also in the group with Matt Willis, asked on TikTok: “Is it the right time for a busted tour?
There are so many reasons why we should do it and also so many reasons why we shouldn’t, so there’s a lot to consider.
“I might also like to do an album first so we have new music.”
Cheryl’s stage show is sold out… the white wine
CHERYL’s appearance on the West End Show 2:22: A Ghost Story has resulted in a shortage of white wine at the theater in which she is performing.
The other night the players were told there wouldn’t be enough for everyone and it had run out at half-time.

One busy bartender said: “Demand has gotten out of hand in the last few days. We haven’t seen anything like this before. It’s quite a special audience that we have for the show, with a lot of Huns, and they love a white wine.”
But The Lyric Theater will have coined it while supplies last, charging £29.95 for a bottle of its house white.
Singer/actress Cheryl has landed the role of Jenny in the thriller, which tells the tale of spooky goings on at a house she’s renovating with her husband.
The action unfolds over the course of an evening and Cheryl’s character is seen having a drink most of the time.
Sounds like she has the same idea as the audience.

Matt charges princely sums for selfies with fans
PRINCE Philip actor Matt Smith is charging fans £230 for an autograph and a selfie with him.
The crown and former Doctor Who star are set to perform at Liverpool’s two-day Comic Con in April, which has a standard adult day ticket price of £21.45.

11
But if die-hard fans want to get up close and personal with Matt for a quick pic, they’ll have to shell out £115 for the snap – along with an additional £115 for a signature.
One fan wrote on social media: “One hundred and fifteen pounds for a photo? You know the cost of living, right?”
Another said: “Are you kidding? £115? Was so excited because my ten year old loves it too.”
Matt, who previously dated actress Lily James, most recently appeared in the Game of Thrones prequel House Of The Dragon as Prince Daemon Targaryen and has peroxide blonde hair.
He will attend the Liverpool event alongside House of the Dragon co-star Paddy Considine, who is charging £42 for a picture or an autograph.
Mimi date bid
MIMI Webb has found plenty of songwriting inspiration through heartbreak, but turned to celebrity dating app Raya to find “the one”.
The singer is nominated for Best New Artist at this weekend’s Brit Awards and is climbing the charts with single Red Flags.

She has set up a profile on the exclusive app and one of her photos shows her performance at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball in London last December.
Mimi, who will be releasing her debut album Amelia next month, linked her page to Lykke Li’s hit I Follow Rivers and revealed she’s a fan of Daphne’s, a popular South Kensington hangout.
A source said: “Mimi has had her fair share of heartbreak and has channeled that into creating songs that her fans love.
She dated her ex for over a year until they broke up last summer, which prompted her to write Ghost Of You.
“But now she’s open to meeting new people and looking forward to a few dates with someone who understands her music world.”
The Canterbury, Kent singer opened up to Bizarre last month as she wrote about her love life.

She said: “I’m probably not in a relationship because I’m writing about it. But I’m a songwriter and I’m inspired by my journey.
“I just want to be able to write about it and connect people to my songs. The right person, he’ll be able to handle it.”
