‘The Boy With The Starry Head’, A Beautifully Illustrated Children’s Book About Edwin Hubble, Now On Sale

“The Boy With The Starry Head” tells the story of the astronomer Edwin Hubble by imagining the wondrous night sky of his childhood.
The picture book follows Hubble from his youth and paints his biography in a way that is both instructive and entertaining. We’re not the only ones who think so: the book has won several awards since its publication. The California Reading Association made it EUREKA! Non-Fiction Children’s Book Honor Award winner; Air & Space Magazine named it the Best Children’s Book of 2021; and it received rave reviews from Kirkus, Publisher’s Weekly and The New York Times.
If Hubble’s name sounds familiar, he’s the character whose name is given famous space telescope has been photographing space for over 30 years. Hubble is famous for determining that there are more galaxies than our own and that the universe is expanding.

Published earlier this year, the illustrated book beautifully combines the trio of theme questions – “How many stars are there in the sky? How did the universe begin? The 52-page book was written by children’s author Isabelle Marinov. Astrophysicist and science communicator Roberto Trotta collaborated on the book. Great illustrations created by Deborah Marcero.
