The nature of these transactions is yet to be revealed, but thankfully did not take place. This news came shortly after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, a deal that is expected to see Bobby Kotick step down as CEO. We’ll likely hear more details once the deal is done.
Xbox’s Activision Acquisition Wipes Out Sony’s $20 Billion Value
Bobby Kotick isn’t the only one feeling the negative consequences of Microsoft’s latest acquisition, with Sony’s market valuation has fallen up 13% in Tokyo. This equates to about $20 billion and is Sony’s biggest single-day drop in value since 2008. Most of Activision Blizzard’s games will likely be skipped now. PlayStation and as a result, Sony’s value plummeted. It remains in the air in what properties Xbox would create a monopoly, but it’s best to assume that’s all.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus clone appeared on Ebay ahead of launch
It’s time for Pokemon fans to boycott social networks like clone of Pokemon Legends: Arceus out into the wild over a week before launch. Along with the new Ebay listings, Pokemon Legend: Arceus‘the full Pokedex and story have also been leaked, revealing never-before-seen Hisuian variants and key plot points in the game. Horizon Forbidden West Story trailer reveals return of old allies and enemies
It might feel like doom and gloom for PlayStation fans at the moment, but at least a new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West dropped today. The trailer gives us a better look at the motives behind Aloy’s journey into the Western Forbidden as well as the inclusion of allies from the first game. However, much of the trailer focuses on Regalla, a new tribe leader who is under the command of Sylens, Aloy’s old ally, who has used her to gain knowledge of the Old Ones.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power hits Amazon Prime September 2
Finally, we have news that Amazon’s new Lord of the Rings series will launch on Amazon Prime much earlier than expected. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Released on September 2nd exclusively on Amazon Prime and gives us our first look at the Second Age. Since the series is set thousands of years before the trilogy, the focus will be on new characters, although there are still familiar names like Galadriel and possibly Elrond.
