The Bachelor star Tia Booth sheds tears in new video days after revealing dad Kenny died of colon cancer

TIA Booth broke down in tears in a new Instagram video, just days after revealing her father passed away from colon cancer.

Bachelor star said she was fine, and that she felt better after a “birth cry”.

Tia, 30, shared a video as she wiped her tears, when the song Give Heaven Some Hell, by country singer Hardy, played in the background.

“I’ve listened to this song about 10 times,” she confessed. “Hold it down until I get there, Dad!!!!”

On Saturday, Tia shared the sad news that her father, Kenny, had passed away, sparking the news by sharing numerous photos of her and her father over the years.

Along with the photos, Bachelor alum begins: “Thanks dad for teaching me how to protect myself, how to drink tequila, and most importantly, how to be an independent woman who doesn’t depend on anyone else to achieve success. (except you when my car breaks down). ”

She later revealed the cause of his death, writing: “After a long year of fighting, I am so grateful that he was freed from the evil grip of cancer. Keep an eye on me & Mama and keep dancing in Heaven. ”

Tia signed the message by calling herself “your little girl”.

Blake Horstmann added: “I’m so sorry Tia. Think of you.”

Angela Amezcua commented: “Tia I’m so sorry! I started praying for you as soon as I saw this! Also will not stop! ”

KENNY’S HEALTH BATTLE

The TV personality had previously announced that her father had been diagnosed with Stage 4 disease colon cancer back in March.

Tia told fans: “Although it is not curable, we are all grateful that it is curable with Chemo.

She continued: “Dad said it was boring, but he had a TV, ice and recliner so he made it, if you wonder why I handle stress with humour, that’s it.”

“Hopefully with minimal side effects and he’ll handle the treatment like a champ—so far so good!”

REALITY SHOWING THE PAST

Tia is best known for appearing in season 22 of Bachelorwhere she competes for the star Arie Luyendyk Jr.

She then returned to the franchise as a member of season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise returned in 2018, while she most recently appeared in season 7 of the show.
