The Bachelor star Tia Booth reveals her father Kenny died after colon cancer battle and prays ‘keep an eye on me and mom’

Tia Booth, a former graduate student, said her father Kenny had passed away after a battle with colon cancer and prayed that he “keep an eye on me and mom.”

The 30-year-old man shared the heartbreaking news on a Instagram Posted on Saturday morning.

Ray broke the news by sharing numerous photos of herself and Kenny over the years.

Along with the photos, Bachelor alum begins: “Thanks dad for teaching me how to protect myself, how to drink tequila, and most importantly, how to be an independent woman who doesn’t depend on anyone else to achieve success. (except you when my car breaks down). ”

She later revealed the cause of his death, writing: “After a long year of fighting, I am so grateful that he was freed from the evil grip of cancer. Keep an eye on me & Mama and keep watching dancin in Heaven. ”

Tia signed the message by calling herself “your little girl”.

KENNY’S HEALTH BATTLE

The TV personality had previously announced that her father had been diagnosed with Stage 4 disease colon cancer back in March.

Tia told fans: “Although it is not curable, we are all grateful that it is curable with Chemo.

“Dad said it was boring, but he had a TV, ice, and a recliner so he made it, if you’re wondering why I handle stress with humour, well… right.”

“Hopefully with minimal side effects and he’ll handle the treatment like a champ—so far so good!” she continued.

REALITY SHOWING THE PAST

Tia is best known for appearing in season 22 of Bachelorwhere she competed to win against star Arie Luyendyk Jr.

She then returned to the franchise as a member of season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise returned in 2018, while she most recently appeared in season 7 of the show.
