The actor with a criminal mind you didn’t know played Simon in Alvin and The Chipmunks

You’d be forgiven if you didn’t realize by now that Matthew Gray Gubler played Simon in the movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks”. After all, his voice was dramatically altered to achieve a high-pitched squeak, synonymous with genuine rodents. However, it’s definitely Gubler as Simon alongside Justin Long and Jesse McCartney as Alvin and Theodore, respectively.

He starred in the original 2007 film “Alvin and the Chipmunks” as well as its three sequels – “The Squeakquel”, “Chipwrecked” and “The Road Chip.” It was a distinct honor for Gubler to be on the part, as he said in a 2010 interview with Page six: “As soon as I get the phone call, it’s like ‘God, yeah!’ The actors talk about their dreams of playing Othello, but for me it’s Simon That’s the biggest deal for me – even older records from the ’50s, they all have my heart. , and being part of that legend is something to think about.”
