Here’s a list of the top five movies on Netflix to watch this Halloween weekend!

Wendel & Wild
Academy Award-nominated Henry Selick is back with a new stop-motion animated film entitled Wendel & Wild, and it’s definitely one of the best movies on Netflix to watch this Halloween weekend. If you are unfamiliar with Selick’s work, he is known for directing other stop-motion animated films such as The nightmare before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach and coral.
He and Jordan Peele teamed up to write the screenplay for Wendel & Wildwhich tells a story about two demon brothers who make a deal with a teenage girl so they can escape the underworld and get to the land of the living where they can fulfill their dream of building their own amusement park.
The voice cast consists of many talented actors like Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Lyric Ross, Angela Bassett, James Hong, Ving Rhames, Sam Zelaya, Tamara Smart, Ramona Young, Natalie Martinez, Gabrielle Dennis, Maxine Peake, and others.
As expected from a Selick film, Wendel & Wild is beautifully animated. It also has an incredible soundtrack with tunes you can rock out to. Overall it’s a good time and the perfect movie to watch with the whole family.

The perfection
Honestly, The perfection is one of my favorite horror movies. It keeps you guessing throughout the movie, and the twists and turns will blow your mind. Just when you think you know what’s going on, the story changes direction. It’s gripping but can be quite disturbing. So if you’re a squeamish person, you might want to skip these. If not, I highly recommend adding this movie to your watch list.
It’s playing Go out‘s Allison Williams as a once-promising musical prodigy who returns to her old prestigious music school to find a new talented student (Hit the ground‘s Logan Browning) has taken its place. After the two musicians meet, they embark on a dark path that you won’t see coming.

The Curse of Bridge Hollow. (L to R) Priah Ferguson as Sydney, Marlon Wayans as Howard in The Curse of Bridge Hollow. Kr. Frank Masi/Netflix © 2022.
The Curse of Bridge Hollow
The Curse of Bridge Hollow is such a simple and fun watch! It’s a family-friendly Halloween movie about a father and teenage daughter who are forced to band together and save their town after an evil spirit brings the town’s Halloween decorations to life and wreaks havoc.
Comedic genius Marlon Wayans plays the Halloween-hating father and stranger things Star Priah Ferguson plays the teenage daughter. Also in the cast are Kelly Rowland, John Michael Higgins, Lauren Lapkus, Rob Riggle and Nia Vardalos.
The Curse of Bridge Hollow has just the right mix of humor and horror, and both adults and children will definitely enjoy watching this film. So remember to add it to your watch list!

FEAR STREET – Cr: Netflix © 2021
Fear Road Trilogy
I’m sorry but I just had to include everything street of fear movies. These films should be watched every Halloween in my opinion. The trilogy consists of Fear Street Part One: 1994, Fear Street Part Two: 1978 and Fear Street Part Three: 1666.
Fear Street Part One: 1994 follows a group of teenagers who accidentally stumble upon an ancient evil spirit responsible for a series of gruesome murders that have plagued their city for centuries.
Fear Street Part Two: 1978 takes place at Camp Nightwing in the cursed city of Shadyside in the 70s. During the summer, a group of teenagers are having fun at Camp Nightwing until a killer goes on a killing spree, turning what appears to be a summer of fun into a struggle for survival.
Fear Street Part Three: 1666 follows the origins of Sarah Fier and Shadyside’s curse in the 17th century and the teenagers in 1994 trying to put an end to it.
All the movies are interconnected and each one will have you on the edge of your seat. On top of that, the cast gives excellent performances, there are so many plot twists, the characters are likable, there’s loads of blood and gore, and there are even some funny scenes. Luckily we haven’t seen the last one yet street of fear because more films are planned!
It
The last movie on our list of the best movies to watch on Netflix over Halloween weekend is the supernatural horror movie It. It is another one of those must-see movies every scary season. Despite being a horror film, it also has a great mix of humor, action, and drama.
This movie might not be the scariest movie you have ever seen, but it will surely get your adrenaline pumping. The story follows a group of outcasts who must band together to face an ancient, shapeshifting evil entity while overcoming their own personal fears.
The incredibly talented cast includes Bill Skarsgård, Jaeden Martell, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Jackson Robert Scott.
