The best Netflix shows to watch

To help you find what to watch on Netflix, we’ve handpicked the best Netflix shows to watch and skip right now. We’ve been updating the shows to watch and skip list throughout the year, and now that we’re in the middle of the year there are so many new Netflix shows to talk about.

Despite the production challenges posed by the pandemic, the past few years have been incredible for Netflix shows. So many good Netflix shows were released in 2022, and more are on the way by the end of the year.

Last year was a great year for new and returning Netflix shows, and the winning streak has continued, with the list of best shows of 2022 growing and getting better and better by the week. Fortunately, we have a ton of good Netflix shows to watch right now. And to save you the hassle, we also recommend a few shows you should probably avoid.

If you’re looking for what to watch on Netflix, this is the list for you.

Month after month, we’re hit with an overwhelming amount of Netflix original series, new releases, and even more recommendations to watch. But which Netflix shows should you definitely put on your watch list, and which ones could you skip? We’ve got your back.

Let’s start the list with one of the biggest fan-favorite shows on Netflix, The Lincoln Attorney!

Netflix shows: The Attorney for Lincoln

Seasons: 1

Prepared by: David E Kelley

Cast: Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Christopher Gorham

If we were to give an award for Best New Netflix Show of 2022 (and we will be doing that later this year), we probably would give it The Lincoln Attorney – and we are only halfway through the year. The series, based on Michael Connelly’s books, was also a huge hit.

Except that it’s based on the same character from the same Netflix book series The Lincoln Attorney has no connection to the film of the same name starring Matthew McConaughey. In fact, it’s not based on the title book, but adapts it The Brass Judgment.

Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, returns to work after a year’s absence and takes on what may be the most difficult murder case of his career. From start to finish, The Lincoln Attorney leaves you guessing and wondering who actually did it and why.

Luckily, Netflix has renewed The Lincoln Attorney for a second season and the series will continue, this time with another book in the series. And given how much this show is to watch, there will be many, many more seasons to come.

Verdict: WATCH
