WHEEL of Fortune host Pat Sajak’s daughter, Maggie, has taken to social media to give him credit for being such an influential TV personality.
Maggie wrote a sweet message to the legendary game show host on her Instagram Stories after he recently announced he is retiring from Wheel of Fortune.
Pat, 76, broke many hearts after announcing he would be stepping down from the game show in 2024.
Jeopardy! acknowledges the anger of the fans. Executive producer Michael, 57, Davies praised Pat on Instagram for his contribution to the world of media hosting.
Michael admitted in a comment that “there has never been a game show host like Pat” and that there will “never be one again.”
“He’s been making something so hard look so effortless for 40 years,” Michael wrote at the end of his comment.
Maggie, 28, reposted a screenshot of Michael’s comment on her recent Instagram Stories.
Signing Michael in her caption, she wrote, “Incredibly well said, [she tagged Michael’s Instagram handle].
“That sums up perfectly what makes my father’s talent so special.”
On Tuesday, Wheel of Fortune social correspondent Maggie shared a winning photo with her dad on Twitter following his shock news of his retirement.

When she took part in the Wheel of Fortune set, she wore a beautiful beige top and heels.
In the candid snap, shared a day after Pat’s unexpected news, she chatted to her dad, who was wearing a signature suit.
Maggie captioned it with a heart emoji: “Legendary host, even more legendary dad.”
Fans have been touched by Maggie following her old man and how she will continue without him in the coming seasons.
“Congratulations to your father on his well-deserved retirement! He’s a legend and we will miss him!” One fan replied.
“Will you take his place? Congratulations on his retirement. We will miss him,” wrote another.
“Take the helm, Maggie. You’ll be great,” begged a third.
One follower commented, “Maggie I’m definitely hoping you take on the hosting job next year,” while a fifth wrote, “Stunning!”
Pat tweeted on Monday: “Well it’s time. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last.”
“It was a wonderful ride and I will have more to say in the coming months. Thanks to you all.”
The living room TV classic began in 1981 with 66-year-old Vanna White as presenter.
Maggie responded to Pat’s personal message, “So much fun working with my dad… and we look forward to even more fun in Season 41.”
Vanna, meanwhile, emotionally tweeted on Tuesday, “When we started ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ who knew 41 seasons later we’d still be on it?”
“I couldn’t be happier to be on stage with you all these years and there’s one more to come. Cheers to you, Pat Sajak!”
So far, no host successor has been named.
As a result, a number of fans have reacted to the news with speculation as to who will replace Pat.
Pat’s stunning daughter, Maggie, was a name taken immediately as she’s already a part of the show.
However, other fans have predicted that instead of hiring Maggie or someone else to host, roles could rotate and Vanna take over as moderator.
