The 10-year-old will be tried as an adult and charged with first-degree reckless homicide and first-degree first-degree intentional homicide after the horror shooting.

The child’s attorneys asked for the lower bail amount because he has no source of income, reports WTMJ.

According to the criminal complaint, the boy shot his mother in the face after she refused to let him order the VR set online.

But just a day after the alleged shooting, he ordered the device through his dead mother’s Amazon account.

His 44-year-old mother, identified by WTMJ as Quiana Mann, was reportedly shot at point-blank range through the right eye just before 7am.

After allegedly killing his mother, the boy went upstairs to wake up his 26-year-old sister, who called 911 after discovering the tragic shooting.

The boy initially told investigators that the gun “accidentally went off” as he twirled it around his finger.

However, he later admitted that he did not turn the gun when he allegedly shot his mother, according to the complaint.

The boy reportedly admitted that “his mother wouldn’t let him have anything he wanted from Amazon,” which led to him stealing the keys to her gun locker from his mother the night before the shooting.

He later retrieved the gun because he was angry that his mother had woken him up at 6am when he normally sleeps until 6:30am, the complaint said.

The complaint added that the boy “admitted to knowing that guns are dangerous and can kill people,” but revealed to investigators that “he has five different imaginary people who talk to him.”

His sister told police the boy had “anger issues” throughout his life and “gets very angry and acts out,” and she said a therapist who met with the boy gave him a “worrying diagnosis.” have.

Solicitor Angela Cunningham asked for the reduced bail, telling the court: “My team and I spoke to him about his ability to go public with it.

“He told us about piggy banks of savings he had from gifts, birthday presents and rummaging through pillows on the couch that he was able to save.”

The judge denied the request and left his bail at $50,000.

If convicted, the child faces a maximum of 60 years in prison.
