The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Sharktivity app sends alerts when users report shark sightings in the US.

A shark was sighted about 150 to 200 meters off the coast of Nauset Beach.

Another was seen about 150 yards offshore off North Beach Island, Chatham. The third was sighted about 75 meters from shore off Monomoy Island.

According to the Boston Herald, there were more sightings on Sunday.

One of the great white sharks was reported northeast of Provincetown by a pilot. Another pilot reported another sighting north of Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro.

Two beaches on Martha’s Vineyard were closed for two hours on Sunday.

And officials were also forced to shut down South Beach and Norton Point, Edgartown.

Sharks have been known to lurk near Cape Cod as the seal population has migrated north.

Earlier this month, at least 17 great whites were sighted off Cape Cod in a two-day period, according to Sharktivity.

SHOCK SIGHTINGS

Shocking data shows there have been at least 31 shark attacks in the US this year, according to Tracking Sharks.

Addison Bethea, 17, was mauled by a shark while gratinating in June.

Part of her leg was amputated after the brutal attack.

Addison was discharged from a Tallahassee, Fla., hospital weeks after his admission.

The hospital said: “She has had several successful surgeries to save as much of her leg as possible and is on the road to recovery, eventually using a prosthesis.”

Despite the horror attack, Addison’s mum Michelle told The Sun her daughter will be getting back in the water.

She said: “You can’t stop living your life because this happened. It was clear water, a calm day and she had a swimming partner.”
