A SHOCKING video captures the moment a two-year-old boy was mauled by a feral pet Rottweiler, leaving him with a broken jaw and 200 stitches.
The toddler was hospitalized after the horrific attack in Pattaya, Thailand last week, when the stray 11 stone dog viciously attacked him.
The beast jumped out of an open-door house where it had been barking at the tot and his four-year-old brother as they strolled by with their nanny.
The little boys from France jumped in fear when the “devil dog” made his first lunge at their nanny, but the animal soon turned to the youngest.
It continued to grab the two-year-old with its jaws for a full minute while strangers desperately tried to slap it away from the terrified child.
The toddler appears to be holding onto what may be a teddy bear as the rottweiler mauls him.
At the end of the video clip, a man appears with a piece of metal to hit the boy’s dog.
When three adults finally managed to snatch the beast from the young lad, he already had wounds all over his face and a broken jaw.
The child had to be transferred to Bangkok because of the severity of his injuries and received 200 stitches there.
The Rottweiler’s owner, Somkiat, 67, said he heard someone screaming and rushed over to help.
He told the Mirror: “I ran out of the house to see what was going on and saw the dog attack the boy.
“I grabbed a metal stick to scare the dog away.”
Another neighbor Jet, 39, added: “The owner of this dog needs to be very careful and make sure he is on a leash. It’s such a violent dog.”
The police are now investigating the incident.
When questioned, the homeowner allegedly said he left the gate open to take out the rubbish, but she ran outside as the boys and their nanny passed.
Pattaya Police Station Police Colonel Kullachat Kullchai said: “We are still investigating the case and the allegations against the owner.
“We still have to wait for the boy’s medical results before we can finalize the indictment.”
