ERLING HAALAND has already broken goalscoring records in his short career and could break more in his debut season with Manchester City.
The 22-year-old joined City from Borussia Dortmund for £51million in the summer.
And he started straight away, scoring a brace on his Premier League debut against West Ham.
In all competitions he scored another 12 goals.
Haaland has scored 11 goals in his first seven Prem games, beating Mick Quinn’s old record set in December 1992.
And he’s hoping to add to that goal tally in his FIRST Manchester derby this weekend.
City play Manchester United on Sunday.
His nine goals in his first five games was also a record, making him the month’s top scorer in each Prem season.
The Norwegian ace is also the first player to score in his first four away Prem games.
Haaland became the first player to score multiple goals in his Champions League debut for three different clubs – RB Salzburg, Dortmund and City.

And he is the first City player to score in both his Prem debut and Champions League debut for the club.
Haaland also set records in Salzburg and Dortmund.
The forward is the fastest and youngest player to score 25 Champions League goals in just 20 games.
But there are more records to be broken this season.
SunSport look to records Haaland COULD break given his fine form this season.
Premier League goals in a season
Haaland could score the most goals in a single Prem season at the rate at which he’s beating them.
Andy Cole in 1993/94 and Alan Shearer the following season hold the record with 34 goals.
Back then there were 42 league games and not 38 like today.
But no fear.
Haaland would need to score 24 goals in his next 31 Prem games to beat it. Makeable.
38 Premier League goals in one season
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah currently holds the record for most goals in a 38-game prem season.
The Egyptian star scored 32 goals in the 2017/18 season.
Haaland, on the other hand, is well on the way to surpassing this with his hit rate.
Goal record for the top five European leagues
One of the more unrealistic but not impossible records Haaland is looking for.
Seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi scored a staggering 50 LaLiga goals in the 2011/12 season.
Haaland could do it if he keeps his goalscoring form.
Goals per game Premier League Golden Boot
No player has won the Prem Golden Boot by scoring a goal in a game.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane came closest when he scored 29 in 30 games in 2016-17.
Statistically, Haaland could score 60 league goals at his current odds.
City gates in a season
Tommy Johnson holds an old goalscoring record at City.
In the late 1920s he scored 38 goals in all competitions.
Haaland could break the almost 100-year record.
Goals in a single Champions League campaign
Another tough record he would have to wrest from one of football’s all-time greats, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo holds the record for most goals in a single Champions League season.
Ronaldo scored a remarkable 17 goals in 11 games in 2013/14.
Haaland already has three out of two games this season.
Most goals scored in a calendar month
Luis Suarez scored the most goals by a player in a calendar month in December 2013.
The then Liverpool ace scored 10 and beat Haaland’s August total by one.
But Haaland still has many months … or years to break that.
Goals in consecutive Prem games
Jamie Vardy set an incredible net record in 11 straight games in Leicester’s 2015/16 title-winning season.
Haaland is currently in a five-game streak.
Record Premier hat-tricks in a season
All-time Prem goalscorer Shearer notched an astounding five Prem hat-tricks while playing for Blackburn in 1995-96.
Haaland already has two in his account in just seven games.
The fewest apps for 30 and 35 UCL goals
Ruud van Nistelrooy scored 30 Champions League goals in 34 games and 35 goals in 42.
If Haaland scores another nine goals, he would break that feat or draw level.
