MANCHESTER UNITED boss Erik ten Hag has urged new boys Tyrell Malacia and Antony to “relax” after their previous struggles in the Eredivisie.
Malacia joined United from Feyenoord earlier in the summer before Ten Hag reunited with Antony on deadline day.
The pair fought epic duels in Holland as Feyenoord and Ajax met.
Last March, Ajax sealed a 3-2 win over their rivals that helped propel them to another Dutch title with Antony on the goalscoring list.
But Malacia largely kept Antony calm as both players clashed with some tough challenges.
The two collided again in stoppage time, with Antony theatrically falling to the ground in front of the dugout.
However, after the 22-year-old Brazilian took too long to get back on his feet, he was shown a second yellow card.
And when Malacia tried to lead him off the pitch, Antony lashed out at the full-back.
As the pair bonded in United training, Ten Hag told the pair to “take it easy,” Malacia has revealed.
Malacia told Sky Sports: “When he [Antony] arrived [at Manchester United] The first thing the coach said was, “Boys are easygoing with each other.”

“He is [Antony] a good player and I love playing against him and now I’m playing with him which is fantastic.”
Both Malacia and Antony have been able to hit the ground running at Old Trafford.
Malacia is claiming the starting spot at left-back while Antony scored on his Premier League debut against Arsenal.
The Red Devils are fifth in the table after six games played.
They next meet rivals Manchester City on October 2nd.
