Today will be very pleasant with most of the remaining snow melting and keeping the ground saturated.
There are a few chances of rain this week and today is one of them. I think almost everyone is dry today with just a chance of rain.
While still low, the best chance for a passing shower would be along I-80.
Wednesday will be dry with another chance of showers passing on Thursday as a moderate low temperature moves southwards.
Places along I-70 will have the best chance Thursday to see a light shower pass.
Everyone saw rain on Friday and now it looks like a chance for rain over the weekend with light rain lasting both Saturday and Sunday.
What is not in the forecast? Snow. Possibly no snow will be recorded in Pittsburgh over the past
next week.
Looking at our total snow for the year so far, Pittsburgh has recorded 37.8 inches of snow so far this season.
That’s more snow than we saw last year when it fell 31.2 inches thick. So far this March, we’ve seen 12.8 inches of snow.
That’s more snow than we’ve seen in the last month.

The last time we saw more snow in March than in February was 2018. This is also the heaviest March snowfall in nearly ten years with the last time we saw this much snow in 2015. two thousand and thirteen.
