The former Teen Mom star has been drawing comments on social media lately about her chosen method of making money.

One critic commented, “No, but fr, if she were a responsible adult like she claims, then she wouldn’t have to be promoting her ‘side hustle’ herself.”

Jenelle clapped back in a TikTok video in response to the comment.

Sitting on her bed with her glasses and long locks around her shoulders, she offered her reasons for running an OnlyFans account while dressed in black pajamas.

“If I were a responsible adult, I would pay my bills, right?” Jenelle asked.

“I would make money to pay my bills. Seems like I’m going to do that, doesn’t it?”

Jenelle continued, “There are so many different ways to make money these days, so am I promoting Chinese products that are broken when they get to my customers? No, I don’t do that. I will not be faking social media for my fans.”

She went on to explain, “So I’m going to find another way to make money and if that’s a sharp side, more power to me, right? I have to pay taxes for this. It’s a real job, believe it or not. So while you sit here and hate, I’ll lie on my bed and make money.”

Commentators were quick to leave their thoughts on the video.

One wrote: “Everyone hated Farrah for it and they kicked her off the show for it. Now it is acceptable.”

Another said: “Considering Jenelle isn’t even on the show anymore what does it matter with Farrah.”

Jenelle responded, writing “Yeah everyone keep bringing her up” with a laughing emoji.

However, she was not without her supporters.

One fan shared: “Girls if I thought I had what it took to do a ‘hot side’ damn yes I would! get your money!! That’s great!!”

“I believe this world would be a much better place if everyone worried about themselves as much as everyone else,” commented another.

Meanwhile, Jenelle tried to provide some shade for her former co-star Chelsea Houska.

But the fired Teen Mom star ended up backfiring as fans slammed her in response.

Earlier this week it was reported that Chelsea’s new HGTV series Down Home Fab has been renewed for another year.

A press release from the network revealed that the show is HGTV’s top-rated newcomer series as of May 2022.

If the website Ashley’s reality summary tweeted the news, with one follower noting, “Jenelle is crying right now.”

Jenelle found out about the tweet and personally returned a response of her own – subtly shading Chelsea and defending her own absence from TV.

“Maybe JUST MAYBE I don’t want to be on TV right now,” she said tweeted. “But here you are talking about me again. You love meeeeee!”

“I’m happy for Chelsea. Personally, I would hate flipping houses for a living. More power for them!”

Fans weren’t so happy for Jenelle, exercising their own power to speak out.

“Don’t come for Chelsea,” one person tweeted. “I’m sure she’s glad she didn’t end up like you did.”

A second said: “We already know you would hate flipping houses because it actually takes hard work lol.”

While a third reiterated: “You don’t do anything for a living. Bitter doesn’t look good, sweetheart.”

And a fourth added: “Why do you care so much? Live your life and stop worrying about what others think of you! As simple as that.”

Previously, Jenelle posted a video of critics clutching her pearls and criticizing her parenting.

In the video, which was posted to Jenelle’s Instagram story, most of the family, including David Eason, jam to Flowers by Miley Cyrus.

While Jenelle is lip-synching, she shows her children Ensley and Kaiser in the back seat.

Ensley sings along, but Kaiser lays his head on his sister’s lap. Apparently he’s not wearing a seat belt.

Jenelle also has a makeup filter on the video, even when filming Ensley. The teen mom has been heavily criticized in the past for filtering her daughter.

The video ended with Jenelle and her husband David Eason jamming along to the song and acting very carefree.

Concerned Reddit users zoomed in on the video and the dangerous situation Jenelle put her son in.

One said: “This video is stressing me out. Not only is Kaiser not buckled up, he looks like he’s not feeling well. His cheeks are flushed Poor kid home, put him in comfortable clothes and put him to bed!”

Another wrote: “She got roasted for the very thing (kids not wearing car seatbelts) when she went on Kaiser’s school trip, so much so that she shut down the comments. B**** never learns.”

A third remarked, “Ensley isn’t in the right car seat either.”

Another commented, “Maybe I’m just being overly sensitive, but it really pisses me off when kids aren’t buckled up properly.”

To which someone replied: “This isn’t the first time they or the children have buckled their seat belts, but the belt is behind them. That seems to be the case in this case. And it’s even more unsafe if he sleeps lying down.”
