Teenage mum Jenelle Evans cries as she signs court documents to regain custody of son Jace, 13, in emotional new video

JENELLE Evans has posted touching footage from the day she regained custody of her eldest son.

The Teen Mom 2 star shared a TikTok yesterday documenting key moments from the day.

The video, posted by Sam Smith for Stay With Me, began with Jenelle in the courthouse being told to sign the custody papers “right there.”

She then added captions to show her statement about her mother Barbara, 69, and her feelings about the massive change: “She’s perfectly fine, she says, ‘I’m ready to have my freedom.’

“I’m ready for a cruise and she and her friend already have a cruise planned.”

The video then moved to Jenelle sitting in her car after the papers were signed as she cried tears of joy.

Holding the papers up to the camera, she emotionally shared, “It’s done, it’s done.”

The 31-year-old then collapsed completely and took off her glasses while crying.

At the end of the clip, Jenelle included a photo of herself and Jace smiling happily at the camera.

She captioned the moving post: “IT’S OFFICIAL! Thank you everyone for the support,” adding a twinkle and heart emoji.

“Words cannot describe how happy I really am. Our family is now complete! Thanks mom,” she finished.

LOVE AND SUPPORT

Many of Jenelle’s fans gave her hearty congratulations after following her journey for many years.

One person said: “For those of us who have watched your younger self into the woman you are now, go girls. MUCH LOVE!”

“Congratulations. I remember watching you when I was so little. So happy for you and your family,” added another.

A third fan exclaimed, “We’ve ALWAYS ROOTED AFTER YOU!”

Another emotional comment read, “Crying with you girl you’ve grown so much I love you!”

“You never gave up trying to get him back and that shows how dedicated you were. I’m so proud of you!” praised another message.

AFTER A LONG-AWAITED TIME

Jenelle’s custody of their 13-year-old son came a decade after Barbara gained full custody of him.

She exclusively told Us Weekly on Saturday: “My mother and I have decided together to give me full custody back because we want to rebuild our relationship as a mother and daughter.”

“Also, my mom agrees that it’s time for Jace to be back with his siblings and live with a mom and dad.”

Jenelle shares Jace with her ex Andrew Lewis.

Jace will live with his mother and her current husband David Eason, 34.

She is also the mother of her eight-year-old son, Kaiser, whom she shares with her ex, Nathan Griffith.

Their daughter Ensley, six, is the only child she shares with David, whom she married in 2017.
