TEEN Mom star Rachel Beaver’s mother, Stephanie, has claimed the reality TV franchise is coming to an end amid ratings battles.
MTV made major changes to Teen Mom, combining Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 into one show called Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

Rachel’s mom Stephanie was recently asked about the future of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant and her response left fans stunned.
One fan inquired about the show’s return, to which Stephanie replied: “Yes, we haven’t received a call back yet regarding the show’s renewal. I think the entire Teen Mom franchise will be over soon.”
She didn’t elaborate further, but the franchise has struggled with ratings for some time and was recently faced with its lowest ratings of all time.
Fans had a lot to say about Stephanie’s comments on Instagram, and many were divided on what MTV should do with the show.
“I think they should close the curtains. If you have to poke and poke to create drama or use someone as your storyline, that’s not entertaining,” one fan commented.
Another wrote, “No they shouldn’t cancel… certain people have to be off the show but they just shouldn’t cancel it, love it.”
“I don’t think Teen Mom is ending, but I think it would be nice to hear other stories from other young moms or teen moms,” suggested a third fan.

The reality star is no stranger to buzz and controversy.
In 2022, the star raised some eyebrows when she rocked an outfit that showed off her thong while vacationing with her baby daughter.
Critics claimed it was “inappropriate” to wear a crop top, cropped shorts, and a visible thong while traveling with Hazelee.
The backlash began after Rachel shared a selfie in a skimpy black outfit in her hotel room.
She paired the look with tall leather boots while playing with her wet pink hair and shielding her face from being shot with her phone.
She marked her location in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida, where she was vacationing with her two-year-old daughter.
The post circulated on Reddit, where one person pointed out the star’s questionable outfit during the family outing.
“Rachel is on vacation with her daughter… who will she see wearing this while with her child. Talk about whoops,” they wrote.
Another user agreed, writing: “Trashy. And her hair looks dirty.”
A second echoed the statement, adding: “That’s not even cute. It’s embarrassing.”
A third chimed in with similar thoughts on the outfit, commenting, “Lol I used to live in St. Augustine…there’s no place this outfit would be appropriate.”

DADDY DRAMA
Rachel’s parenting skills have also come under scrutiny in the past, after fans slammed her for allowing her young daughter to call her then-new boyfriend “Daddy.”
The interaction took place on a previous episode of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant, when the new mom revealed she had only been dating boyfriend Noah for a month.
Comparing Hazelee’s bond with Noah to that of her birth father, Drew Brooks, she said, “If Noah and Drew were in the same room right now, that’s how she would go to Noah. She doesn’t know Drew.”
Fans expressed their concerns about the inclusion on social media, with one person writing: “Woa Woa. Not letting the baby call him daddy. nope Way too soon for all of this.”
Another added, “These young mothers must be wiser about bringing different boys around their kids.”
A third chimed in: “So many different guys have been with this baby in her short life? It’s so wrong that you don’t bring a new man around your child until you know the relationship is serious. Nothing serious happens in a month or two.”
