Briana, 29, was shown at home while her sister Brittany DeJesus was visiting.

The mother of two then received a visit from a friend who had stopped by a pharmacy on the way.

When she asked what she needed to pack for the ‘Teen Mom’ star, Briana revealed the scary news: She found a large lump in her armpit that needed to be removed.

Briana suffers from lupus, which made the diagnosis even more scary for her.

The friend – Shea – had unknowingly obtained Briana’s prescription antibiotic cream to treat the open wound under her arm.

Brittany shared photos of the nasty cut after she asked: “Do you vomit easily?”

Later in the episode, Briana returned to her dermatologist for more information about the lump.

She learned they had found an unknown bacterium that would require her to take antibiotics for a month to treat.

Creepy details

The Florida native shared the scary news with her mother, Roxanne, who seemed extremely concerned.

Roxanne said: “You just have to keep in mind that your immune system isn’t like everyone else’s, so anything can trigger something. That could be lupus attacking your body.”

Briana played it cool during their conversation, but was candid in the confessional about how she’s dealing with her health issues and life as a single mom.

The star said: “One of the main triggers for lupus is stress and to be quite honest I feel like my life is always stressful when it comes to being a single mom, dealing with Devoin and Luis and just everything in between.”

“While it’s hard not to be stressed, I feel like if I had the help of Devoin and Luis I could take a break and focus on my health.”

Briana has one child with Devoin Austin and another with Luis Hernandez.

Devoin takes on the role of father to both girls as Luis has nothing to do with his daughter Stella’s life.

Showing her little sympathy, fans of the show wrote on X, “Briana no disrespect but how much of this stress could be avoided with better decisions?”

Another wrote: “Briana is stressing Roxanne.”

BRIANA’S DIAGNOSIS

Briana announced that she had been diagnosed with lupus in September.

Taking to X to share the news, she wrote, “I was diagnosed with lupus a few days ago and I’m not going to lie – I was definitely sad about it.”

She added, “I’m finally feeling better.”

After a fan apologized to the Teen Mom 2 star, Briana replied, “Oh thanks. No need to apologize!”

“That does not happen. I will start taking my meds tomorrow so hopefully things will get better.”

A few months earlier, the reality star announced that she had tested positive for the probable diagnosis.

She wrote at the time: “I’m so sad. My Ana test was positive,” and revealed that that probably meant she had lupus, since “everyone in my family has it.”

An “ANA test looks at the levels of antinuclear antibodies in the blood, and if an ANA comes back positive, it means the body’s immune system is attacking its own tissues or triggering an autoimmune reaction,” according to the Mayo Clinic.
