Teen shot in NW Miami-Dade after fleeing vehicle officers who tried to stop – CBS Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A teenager was shot Sunday northwest of Miami-Dade after fleeing a police vehicle that was trying to stop.
Investigators said they were pursuing the vehicle around 12:45 a.m. when the driver lost control and crashed near NW 54 and NW 22.

Miami-Dade executives said some of the people in the car provided relief. Police began pursuing the driver and at some point, shots were fired.
Investigators said the 15-year-old was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition, wanted on multiple counts.

A gun was recovered at the scene.
The other suspects are still big.
