FAMILY CHAOS
The bizarre video was released after Jenelle’s 14-year-old son Jace ran away from home on Thursday, September 28, and was later discovered.
This is his third reported escape attempt since he was returned to the former Teen Mom 2 star’s care in March.
The night Jace went missing, Jenelle reportedly called 911 and claimed that her mother, Barbara, had hidden Jace in her home, according to a report from The Ashley.
The US Sun exclusively learned that Jenelle and David are under investigation by CPS (Child Protective Services) over the incident.
The source said: “Jace is not at home and is currently in the care of the CPS who are investigating.”
After the teenager was found more than 24 hours after his disappearance, he was taken straight to the hospital.
While in hospital, Jace made abuse allegations against his stepfather David, The US Sun exclusively revealed.
Jace claimed he was physically assaulted and disclosed this to doctors, a therapist, the Columbus County sheriff in North Carolina, and a CPS worker.
Authorities discovered “marks on his arms and neck,” the source claimed.
Additionally, Jace has made it clear that he does not want to return to his mother’s home in North Carolina.
An insider familiar with the case said: “He has told everyone he won’t stay if he is sent back there. He will run again.”
“One of the big concerns is that when he runs, he’s also walking alone in the middle of nowhere. It’s dangerous out there.”
The source concluded: “It is not a threat that anyone takes lightly.”
The former TV personality shares her son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis.
