Airing for three seasons on MTV, the show drew viewership when it first aired, but has seen a drastic decline in viewership over the years.
The show starred Rachel, Kayla Sessler, Brianna Jaramillo, Kiaya Elliott and Madisen Beith.
Prior to The Ashley’s report, there were rumors that Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant was about to drop.
The third season premiere attracted only 160,000 viewers.
At the time, an insider told the outlet, “Calls came in today to the cast letting them know it’s done.”
“The crew has also been informed that there will be no fourth season. All the big executive producers were on the phone and every girl and granny was approached.”
The same source added, “Everyone was expecting to hear the show was canceled so it wasn’t exactly a surprise but without that it’s going to be tough for some of the cast.” [MTV] Money.
“It’s a sad day.”
BUMMY ROAD
Rachel and her family had their ups and downs, some of which were captured on the show and others played out behind the scenes.
In June 2022, Lane Fernandez, Rachel’s sister Malorie’s baby daddy, died just three weeks after giving birth to a son with his wife Kylee Rose.
Kylee shared the news of his death on Facebook, writing, “I’m so lost without you baby. I love you to the moon and back and I know you take care of us. I will miss you forever.”
“You always have been. Nolyn, Emerson and I love you so much and you were an amazing father, dog father and husband.”
“You will always be my rock and my best friend. I miss you more than anything baby.”
Malorie faced her own legal troubles in August 2020.
She was arrested for drunk driving after a single car accident.
According to a police report obtained by The US Sun, a responder arrived at the scene at 3:16 am.
The vehicle went off the roadway and hit a tree.
Malorie claimed to be the driver of the vehicle.
The police report said: “When I spoke to Ms. Beaver I noticed a strong odor of an intoxicant on her body, her pupils were dilated and she was unsteady on her feet.
“I also noticed that her speech was slurred and she had trouble understanding and answering simple questions.”
She initially denied drinking, but then admitted to having “a few” beers.
According to the rapporteur, she “refused” to do an on-site sobriety test.

In April of that year, Rachel’s young father, Drew Brooks, was arrested for attempted murder.
A few months later, her father was released from prison after spending a year behind bars on suspicion of heroin.
