Teen Mom fans slam Chelsea Houska’s big makeup blunder in resurfaced photo
TEEN Mom fans have poked fun at Chelsea Houska after an old photo of her surfaced online.
Over the weekend, years ago, someone on the popular MTV reality show shared a screenshot of Chelsea with red hair and a lot of fake tan.
Sitting next to her husband Cole DeBoer, Chelsea wears a white blazer and lots of bobby pins in her hair.
The author posted the image on Reddit and captioned it, “What about Chelsea’s bobby pin hair ‘design’? (How come I never noticed that before?).”
Others were quick to comment on the thread, with one person writing, “Whoever did her hair and makeup here should be FIREDDD, and if it was her… oh dear.”
Another person said: “Orange looks awful!! Hair clips look ridiculous.
A third commented, “The makeup is so intense,” while a fourth pointed out, “Look at the color of her face versus the color of her scalp lol.”
Someone else claimed: “I have a feeling even Chelsea will look at this pic of themselves and say wtf is that tan.”
“I want to know who did her makeup,” another person asked, to which someone replied, “A drag queen.”
Another person replied: “Probably your lmao. It’s so dark and hard that I hate it.”

Someone else said, “She’s so pretty and doesn’t need all that makeup,” and another Reddit user wrote, “Facial makeup is way too orange.”
The comments come after Chelsea’s HGTV show Down Home Fab saw ratings soar by almost 200,000 viewers after the season premiere brought disappointing numbers.
Chelsea and Cole Down Home Fab’s new show premiered on January 16 on HGTV.
The series premiere drew a disappointing 678,000 viewers after the stars were slammed for their “ugly” decorating choices.
But The US Sun exclusively revealed last week that ratings for the January 23 episode skyrocketed to 850,000.
In the latest episode, the couple renovated clients Jenny and Neal’s entryway, dining room, living room and kitchen.
They opted for a “cozy sophisticated” aesthetic.
Some design decisions included turning the brick fireplace into a double-sided with stucco molding and painting the wood window trim white.
They also converted the dining room into a mud room and pantry.
For the staircase, they added a white and gray chevron carpet with a modern black metal staircase.
The kitchen featured a waterfall island, marble farmhouse sink, and chevron backsplash.
Cole also redesigned the floor plan, removing the walls that had previously prevented the cooking area from being open to the rest of the house.
But fans weren’t impressed, with one person commenting: “So they removed the character? Definitely you could brighten up some of those areas with some white walls but the blue wasn’t bad?!”
A second commenter exclaimed, “YOU MADE THESE BEAUTIFUL WOOD WINDOWS WHITE?! I would sob on TV if this was my house and I [saw] This. It’s terrible.”
Another said: “I loathe the trend of painting over beautiful natural wood fixtures.”
A fourth said: “The furniture is lovely but the all white walls just make it so soulless and boring. The original color was bad, but white is too much everywhere.”
While a final commenter added, “From cozy to sterile and boring.”
