Teen mom Briana DeJesus makes heartbreaking claims about ex Luis Hernandez and her 6-year-old daughter Stella’s relationship

TEEN mom Briana DeJesus shared a heartbreaking update about her ex Luis Hernandez’s relationship with their daughter Stella.

The MTV star opened up about their bond on Wednesday night’s episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

At one point, Briana, 29, called her first baby daddy, Devoin Austin, 30, and asked him to take her two daughters to an upcoming daddy-daughter dance at school.

Devoin is the father of Briana’s 12-year-old daughter Nova and acted as a father figure to Stella in Luis’ absence.

He agreed, although viewers later found out the girls didn’t like the idea.

In another scene, Briana detailed her conversation with Nova to her 31-year-old sister Brittany, revealing that the teenager wasn’t happy about sharing her special day with her little sister.

The TV star sympathized with Nova, but noted that the chances of Luis taking Stella with him were slim since he hasn’t seen her in almost six months.

Brittany was shocked at how long it had been since 37-year-old Luis showed up, and the situation became even more heartbreaking when Briana remembered the moment she told Stella about the plans.

“I’m in the car with them and I’m explaining the whole situation to Stella and Nova and Stella starts crying,” the reality star said.

She then said that Stella insisted on bringing her father to the dance and begged Briana to call him.

“Now I find myself in a situation where part of me doesn’t want to make contact [Luis] because it damns him, but the way Stella cried hurt my heart so much that I have to suppress it, put my feelings aside and reach out,” Briana admitted.

ABSENT DAD

The mother of two then called Luis and asked him to accompany Stella to the dance, which he did.

Briana still didn’t seem convinced that Luis would show up and demanded that he be there when he promised.

Luis again said he would accept Stella before Briana reluctantly ended the conversation.

“Why are we the ones who care for him so that he can be a part of his daughter’s life? It should be the other way around,” Briana told her sister.

Brittany then warned Briana that Luis would never be fully there for Stella and that it would only get more hurtful as she got older.

“As a five-year-old, she’ll be just as upset when she’s fifteen and upset. At this point you need to tell her the damn truth about her father,” Brittany advised.

Briana has been Stella’s sole caregiver since her birth and has taken care of the little one’s numerous medical problems.

TERRIBLE HEALTH CRISIS

Earlier this month, the TV personality shared a photo of Stella entering a children’s hospital on her Instagram Stories.

Stella looked serious as she stared at the camera while donning a face mask.

“Hopefully we get some answers,” the Teen Mom 2 alum wrote over the photo.

Briana has been very open about her daughter’s health complications.

Stella was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery when she was one year old after contracting a serious bacterial infection.

Briana revealed that her daughter was born with three holes in her heart, but fortunately her heart murmurs disappeared after a few hospital stays.

The dedicated mum recently said she would get “the worst fears” if Stella showed any signs of illness after another emergency room visit delayed her first day of school.

Briana wrote on

“It’s fortunate to be able to say she hasn’t gotten as sick as before, but I’m literally so scared.”
