After the news, he posted a photo of his belongings, which had been left at the Titans’ facility and left in garbage bags on his doorstep.

Lewan titled the post: “Calling out to the @Titans who are dropping off my stuff today.

“They even let me keep the shoulder pads. [salute emoji]”

However, fans weren’t impressed with the way his stuff was handled, with one commenting: “So much for all the hard work.”

He explained that he had asked the organization to drop off his belongings at his home, saying: “Yes, it’s in garbage bags, who cares?

Lewan went on to describe general manager Ran Carthon as “amazing” and head coach Mike Vrabel as “amazing”.

He concluded: “Let’s not overreact guys. Let’s not overreact. Everything is good. Big hugs, little kisses.”
