PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The deadline to file your taxes is tomorrow!

You can apply for an extension, but that only applies to the paperwork.
You still have to pay by tomorrow, otherwise you risk interest and/or penalties.
If you don’t have the money, you can put it on a credit card or use the low-interest installment plan with the IRS.

“Payment in installments can be arranged for the tax balance due at a very low interest rate because they are very cheap above the federal rate, less than four percent a year, and are even free for low-income taxpayers. said Mark Steber, chief tax information officer at Jackson Hewitt.
There are several ways to submit: You can do it yourself – if you’re comfortable with it – you can use a service or software like H&R Block or Turbo Tax.
There is also the option of consulting a tax advisor.
