Target confirms Easter hours change – check opening and closing times for your location

SHOPPERS need to make adjustments when it comes to visiting their favorite stores for the upcoming holidays.

Target said it will close all of its stores on Easter Sunday.

The change in store hours comes as other major retailers give their employees time off at Easter to spend with family.

Target confirmed to The US Sun that all of its big box stores will be closed on Sunday, April 9th.

Shoppers can expect the store to reopen on Monday April 10th.

The good news is that Target’s website will be up and running all the time so people can buy what they need.

CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY

Several retailers have confirmed their holiday times.

Trader Joe’s confirmed to The US Sun that it will be closing all of its stores earlier.

On Easter, shops across the country close at 5 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.

In a statement, Trader Joe’s said the decision was “so that our crew members can enjoy the evening with family and friends”.

Note that opening hours vary by location.

Kroger closes most shops at 5pm, although this may vary by location so check with your local shop before you travel.

Aldi is closing all stores for the entire day except locations in California and Arizona.

Publix also keeps all of its stores closed on Easter Sunday.

The supermarket chain has maintained this tradition for 93 years.

Not all stores turn off the lights for a day.

Walmart plans to keep its Big Box stores open during normal business hours.

The chain has traditionally remained open at Easter.

A lock for a day is different from a permanent lock.

Many retailers are finding themselves at this end as stores attempt to streamline operations by closing locations.

This month alone, Walmart is closing seven locations nationwide.

Sprout’s Farmers Market will also close 11 of its underperforming stores.

The supermarket chain Stop & Shop is closing a store on Thursday.

Liquidation sales have begun at Bed Bath & Beyond as part of the bankruptcy filing.

Many stores also have clearance sales, giving shoppers their last chance to snag bargains.
