Synopsis, cast, release date and more of The Man from Toronto

Netflix has acquired the rights to the Sony film, The man from Toronto. The film stars Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson. The film was previously scheduled to hit theaters on August 12 before the streaming service took over.
This acquisition is part of a deal Netflix and Sony struck last year. According to Deadline, it gives the streamer a first look at his direct-to-stream movies. Lady Chatterley’s lover starring Emma Corrin, Jack O’Connell and Matthew Duckett was the first film to be announced as part of the Sony-Netflix partnership.
Robbie Fox and Chris Bremner will continue as screenwriters The man from Toronto while Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch produced. Executive producers are Bill Bannerman, Aaron L. Gilbert and Jason Cloth.
