This is your catch-up to the Lucasfilm Publishing and High Republic panels at Celebration. While Lucasfilm’s publishing page isn’t as flashy as the film and Disney+ announcements, it does have its followers. Let’s look at some of the highlights.
War of stars: The High Republic Panel – Saturday, April 8th
Vernestra Rwoh will make the leap from page to screen. “Vern” appears in The AcolytePortrayed by actress Rebecca Henderson. Doctor Aphra Author Alyssa Wong will join the High Republic team by contributing a short story Stories of Light and Lifea YA anthology book.
Phase III of The High Republic begins with the adult novel by author George Mann The Eye of Darkness. The story returns to the nihil and takes place a year after the fall of Starlight Beacon. Tessa Gratton and Justina Ireland, co-authors of path of deceptionwork together again for the novel Brave the storm.
Comic series from Marvel War of stars: The High Republic To be continued. The first issue of Phase III will be out this December. In the meantime, Star Wars Insider will again feature short stories, this time by author Lydia Kang. Finally, Phase II ends with night of mourningand a preview of the upcoming Viz manga, Star Wars: The High Republic: Edge of Balance: Precedentwas shared.
Lucasfilm Publishing Panel – Sunday, April 9th
In this panel, the existence of the timelines book was repeated. We already knew about it; Sorting the events of the canon timeline is exactly what it sounds like. Star Wars: 100 items by Kristin Baver is a similar guide to important items in the galaxy. A Jedi: Survivor Art book coming in December. From a certain perspective: Return of the Jedi will feature stories starring Sy Snoodles and Enric Pryde.
A High Republic Character Encyclopedia is coming. art for Secrets of the Wookies was shared. High Republic Wookie Jedi Burryaga will return, and Young Jedi Adventures gets a book with the title Jedi training. Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook comes. Boba Fett and Darth Vader flip-pops are on the way.
