Swansea and Hull are fighting to sign Man Utd transfer target Malcolm Ebiowei, who was loaned from Crystal Palace in January

SWANSEA are looking to beat Hull to sign Crystal Palace winger Malcolm Ebiowei on loan in January.
Ebiowei impressed Hull boss Liam Rosenior when he was in charge at Derby last season.

And the Eagles could send the 19-year-old back out for more playing time.
But Swansea are also keen and Ebiowei could line up alongside Swansea’s 16-year-old Aimar Govea, who is embroiled in a tug-of-war between Spain and Ecuador.
Both nations have called up the midfielder who has to decide who to play for.
Meanwhile, Palace keeper Sam Johnstone is out for up to two months with a back injury.
And that could put a stop to Jack Butland’s exit plans.
Butland is back from a broken hand and could have been let out.
But will probably have to stay in cover now to cover for Johnstone.
Butland picked up the injury in a friendly against Manchester United.
Bournemouth queued at the start of the window to sign him but their interest waned.
Rangers and Middlesbrough have also been linked with the former England international.
Butland has not played in the Premier League since May in a 3-2 defeat by Everton.
