Suspicious evidence found in a teenager’s strange disappearance with his family convinced he was kidnapped from a remote location

NEW evidence has been found in the strange disappearance of a 19-year-old whose family believes he was abducted from a remote location.

Dylan Rounds has been missing for two weeks and was last seen in Montello, Nevada, where he was working on the family farm, 60 miles from his Utah home.

Candice Cooley, Rounds’ mother, told East daho News she believes her son was “kidnapped and he did not leave his seat voluntarily”.

Rounds’ boots were found by his RV behind a pile of dirt on the property near the Utah-Nevada border, she added.

Cooley told local police that the boots were found missing within the first hour and a half after Rounds reported them May 30.

“His boots were about 100 yards south of where his grain truck was parked, behind a pile of dirt that was just casually discarded,” Cooley said.

“He was very careful with his boots. He wears a pair and it’s always the same pair. When they wear out, he buys the exact same boots.”

Police told the mother they found a bloodstain on the boots and it would be sent to a lab for testing, she said.

Cooley said there were no tire tracks in the dirt leading to or from Round’s red pickup truck, which is suspicious because it had been raining over Memorial Day weekend when he disappeared.

The mother claimed the truck looked like it had been pressure washed when police found it. She also said the driver’s seat had been raised in an unusual manner.

Also, the truck was four-wheel drive, although Cooley said Rounds had complained that the four-wheel drive didn’t work.

Because of his age, some have speculated that Rounds may have run away, but the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Department said in a Facebook post that he is missing.

The missing teenager’s distraught family have worked with law enforcement to search for Rounds.

“He’s an old soul, a farm boy at heart. All he wants to do is get up every day and work all day. He’s not interested in parties, he’s not interested in travel,” Wells said.

“He never dated in high school. He’s not a typical 19-year-old.”

There has been no cell phone or credit card activity on his accounts since he went missing.

A $20,000 reward will be offered to anyone who finds Rounds or knows where they might be, the family said.
