NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A suspect is being held for alleged take a shot a 13-year-old child in the Bronx.
It happened around 7:20 a.m. at 233rd Street near Barnes Avenue.

The boy was hit in the neck and taken to hospital. He is expected to survive.

Police say the shooting appeared to be random.
