Supergirl gives opponent Ekaterina Vandaryeva a surprise gift during the confrontation

Supergirl can focus on her second match on ONE Championship’s global stage, but she’s never tired of having fun when she can.

ONE Championship has just released their latest bout of the week vlog, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at some of the fighters competing at the upcoming ONE: Heavy Hitters event tonight, January 14.

The vlog shows the Thai star joining her sister, ONE’s teammate, the warrior Wondergirl, as they visit an anime toy store in Plaza Singapura.

The sisters shared that this was their first time experiencing Singapore, and it was a country they both wanted to explore for a long time.

“She [Supergirl] doesn’t know how to express her feelings. She was very pleased. She loves the One Piece series and her favorites are Luffy and Zoro. She loves to collect their figures.”

The Marrok Force recruits were super excited during their visit, and even asked their sister to help choose what to buy because she couldn’t make up her mind. She even declared it her “best day ever” after putting a few products in her shopping bag.

The Thai beauty showed her generosity when she also bought her sister a few toy figures from the popular volleyball anime, Haikyuu. In addition, she also bought a gift for her upcoming rival, Ekaterina Vandaryeva.

“Ekaterina, I also bought you something. Do your best in the ring on Friday. I hope you like it, because I bought it for you. ”

Supergirl chose an image of Boa Hancock, the only female Lord of the Sea in One Piece, which she says resembles Vandaryeva:

“She’s strong, beautiful and tall like you.”

During the ceremony of deliberation and confrontation, the 18-year-old presented her gift to Vandaryeva, in one of the most gentle confrontations in recent memory.

Supergirl believes her close range is better than Ekaterina Vandaryeva’s

In a one-on-one interview with Andrew Whitelaw, Supergirl shared that part of preparing for the fight was researching her opponents. The Thai star concluded that she excelled in at least one area.

“I always study her, her previous fights. Especially her punches but anyway, I got my technique right so I think I can beat her in the fight,” Supergirl said. “My close range is better than hers.”

Vandaryeva had the opportunity to share her thoughts on this statement, to which she replied:

“You know, if you’re talking about the ring, yes, at close range as well as the clinch, specifically, has an effect. It’s really different when you’re in the cage, so in that sense, I feel like I’m no worse off here, and again, we’ll see in the fight, how it goes. “
